Making an appointment
Please call or email us for an appointment. We are available to meet during regular weekday business hours, subject to court appearances and other meetings.

Initial Consultation
Consultations are provided at the consulting lawyer’s regular hourly rate. Should we commence work on the matter discussed, one hour of the consulting lawyer’s hourly rate will be complimentary and credited to your first invoice.

First Meeting Preparations
Please bring any documents related to your matter as this will save you time and cost. Also, please advise us in advance of your chosen method of payment so we can tailor invoicing to your requirements.

Payment Options
For an initial consultation, payment by debit or credit card (VISA, M/C or AMEX) is preferred. Cash and/or certified cheque payments are acceptable. Ongoing retainer payments will be accepted by cheque, debit or credit card.

Fee Arrangements
There is no fee to open a file.

Transactional work is billed on a per transaction basis, depending on the nature and complexity of the matter. Should a matter take on more complexity than originally expected and defined at the outset, you will be notified in advance and asked for approval before any next steps are taken. Any additional fees will be charged at an hourly fee rate.

Litigation and mediation/arbitration services are charged at a straight hourly fee rate.  

All fees exclude taxes and disbursements.

Referrals
Our current clients refer many new clients to us. Lawyers seeking focused commercial real estate legal expertise on behalf of their clients also refer new clients to us. We’re happy to help in either circumstance. Please contact us to discuss how we can assist both you and your clients.

Requests For Proposals
We provide client-customized responses to requests for proposals. If you wish to submit a formal RFP or if you would prefer to create your own request, either can be done through our RFP form.
